10 days off

After 10 days off from Cross Fit due to STRESS and being tired, I returned tonight with avengence!

Warm up
250 m row
25 squats
10 m gator crawl
10 m crab walk
X2

WOD
20 squats at 45lbs
400m run
X7 for time

I came in at 39:25!!  I was so proud!  I beat my previous timed WODs of 40 minutes to come under 40 AND also I was only 1 round behind many of the pros!  Yes me!

Sept. 17, 2012

After a disastrous Saturday workout (which didn't happen for me) I went today!  And I powered through.

Warm up:
400m Run
200m Row
20 wall balls at 8 lbs

WOD:
Cindy
5 pull ups
10 push ups
15 air squats
20 minutes to do as many rounds as possible.  I did 8 2/3...I was almost done 9!

Cashout:

50m lunge walks with a 25lb weight over my head
25 full body sit ups (GHD)

Rocked it!

Sept. 13, 2012

Today I hit a personal best!!!  So excited.  When I first started I could only lift 35lbs if I was lucky but today I hit a max load of 50lb!!!

Warm up:
80 single rope jumps
20 pass throughs
20 strict shoulder presses

WOD:
5-5-5-5-5 Strict Shoulder press for load (I did a max of 50 at 3 reps!)
1 set of 5 push press (50lbs)

Cashout:
25 toes to bar for time (strict...no swing)
1min 21secs.

Yay me!!!

Sept. 10, 2012

Since Thursday made my calves ROCK HARD..I was hobbling for several days.  That is why I only made it back today!

And boy did I pay for that.

Warm Up:
500m Row
20 push press
20 over head squats
20 push ups
20 back extentions
20 sit ups
10 pull ups

WOD:
100 Thrusters (I did 28 at 35lbs and the rest at 20lbs)
with 2 burpees every minute

WHOA....

Cashout:  weighted planks, 3 rounds for 1 minute each.  I put a 10lb on myself and collapsed the 2nd round but held it again for the 3rd.

Attended the 4:30 Cross Fit again today!  Love doing these right after school.

No warm up today

WOD:
1 mile run
1000 singles on the jump rope
500m Row

My time:  38mins!  I was happy with this because my last cardio WOD was a nice 44 mins.  This one had me feeling like passing out but I powered through!

Cash Out:  Max Push Ups

My max was 16 today.

My first AFTER work workout!!!  Today I started back teaching (sort of) and I was very happy to pack my workout gear.  I looked forward to it all day!

So what did I conquer today:

Warm up:  800m run and 50 air squats

WOD:  5 rounds of
2x 75lb back squat
10 frog jumps
5X 55lb back squat
10 jumping lunges

Time:  9 minutes and 50 secs.  My legs were jelly!

Cashout:  Max pull ups.  I maxed out at 12 using the green band.  Not bad.

Now the question remains as to why I have such a FAT TUMMY!!!!?
